Established in 1983 as a design consultancy firm, Dee has emerged as a single source solution provider of pre-fabricated piping systems and pipe fittings for various engineering giants across the world including Siemens, Doosan, Alstom and also domestic leaders like BHEL, L&T and Thermax. Promoted by first generation entrepreneur Mr. KL Bansal, Dee has a dominant position in the industry, with its nearest independent competitor being just 1/5th its size.

Dee is the only pre-fabricated piping system provider in the country with experience for super-critical power plants and has experience of working with complex metallurgical alloys such as P91 and WB36 used in supercritical plants. Dee has graduated from being a piping solutions provider to process industries to high pressure critical piping for the oil & gas and power sectors.

India is moving from on-site piping fabrication to pre-fabricated piping (which is the global practice) because of compressed timelines for implementation of power projects and Dee is best positioned to benefit from this trend. In the power sector, Dee has to its credit a strong reference list which includes power plants from less than 100 MW to upto 3300 MW (under execution).

The BanyanTree investment will help the company to further consolidate its position in the industry and help with its foray in the upcoming segments.
